Ship Class: Harmony of the Seas is the third ship in Royal Caribbean’s Oasis-class, the line’s largest and most amenity-packed ships. It joins sister ships Oasis, Allure, Symphony, Wonder, and Utopia of the Seas, and it’s the same class of ship as Adventure’s neighbors at the port, just built for a bigger, more activity-driven cruise experience.
Maiden Voyage: Setting sail for the first time on May 29, 2016, Harmony of the Seas has spent 2026 fresh off a major “Royal Amplified” refurbishment completed that May. This includes features such as new venues, a revamped pool deck, and an expanded casino, the largest in the fleet.
Capacity: With room for roughly 5,700 guests at double occupancy (up to 6,780 at max capacity), Harmony of the Seas is one of the largest passenger ships in the world, giving travelers a full resort’s worth of space to spread out.
Features and Amenities: Harmony of the Seas is built for guests who want more to do, not just more to see. Highlights include two FlowRider surf simulators, the Ultimate Abyss slide, a zip line spanning nine decks, an ice-skating rink, mini-golf, a resort-style pool deck with the Lime & Coconut bar, the Bionic Bar (robot-mixed cocktails), and the newly added Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade and the fleet’s largest casino.
Itineraries: Harmony of the Seas returned to Port Canaveral in August 2026 for year-round sailings, running 2, 4, 5, and 7-night Caribbean itineraries with Perfect Day at CocoCay included on every sailing. The cruise also included port stops like Nassau, Bahamas.
Entertainment: Onboard entertainment spans Broadway-style production shows, high-dive and acrobatic performances at the AquaTheater, ice-skating shows in Studio B, and stand-up at The Attic comedy club. The same mix of big-stage spectacle and casual nightlife that defines the Oasis-class experience.
Dining: Harmony of the Seas offers over 20 dining venues, from the complimentary Main Dining Room and Windjammer Marketplace to specialty spots like Chops Grille, Izumi Hibachi & Sushi, 150 Central Park, Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, and the newly added Samba Grill Brazilian Steakhouse. Plus casual grab-and-go options at Café Promenade, Park Café, and El Loco Fresh.
