Carnival Festivale is Carnival Cruise Line’s newest ship. She will homeport at Port Canaveral’s CT3 (Cruise Terminal 3) starting in 2027. Port Parking Space will provide the closest and most convenient parking for CT3 with regular shuttle service for its parking customers, so you can lock in your spot before demand ramps up.

Ship Class: Carnival Festivale is the fourth ship in Carnival’s Excel class, joining sister ships Mardi Gras, Carnival Celebration, and Carnival Jubilee. It’s LNG-powered and part of Port Canaveral’s growing lineup of clean-fuel ships. The ship is built by Meyer Werft in Germany.
Maiden Voyage: Carnival Festivale’s official maiden voyage is a 15-night transatlantic crossing departing Southampton, England on May 2, 2027, arriving at its new home of Port Canaveral. Its first U.S. sailing follows on May 19, 2027, a 4-night Bahamas cruise, with regular year-round Caribbean service beginning in late May 2027.
Capacity: Carnival Festivale carries up to 6,400 guests at max capacity (around 5,270 at double occupancy) with roughly 926 crew. This is a true mega-ship on par with Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration.
Features and Amenities: Festivale is built around a music theme, with six distinct zones spread across the ship. Two brand-new zones, Studio 724 and The Mix, bring synchronized light-and-sound experiences, the Alchemy Bar, Piano Bar 88, and the turntable-themed Mix Bar. Families will gravitate toward Sunsation Point on the top decks, anchored by Carnival WaterWorks Ultra, billed as the line’s most family-friendly water park at sea.
Itineraries: Once regular service begins, Carnival Festivale will run 6 and 8 day round-trip Caribbean voyages from Port Canaveral, including stops at Carnival’s private Bahamian destinations, Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay.
Entertainment: The ship’s Grand Central atrium spans decks 6 through 8 with floor-to-ceiling windows and rotating live entertainment. The Festival zone on Deck 8 brings an outdoor music-festival energy to sea, while Studio 724 syncs lighting and animation to live music throughout the evening.
Dining: Carnival Festivale debuts “Next Course,” Carnival’s newest collection of dining and bar concepts, including Festival Grounds Coffee & Bar, Pizza Palooza, and Rhythm & Rolls Deli in The Festival zone.
